    Adelaide peeps ... !!

I am from Adelaide and find it hard to get a comprehensive range of Sanitarium stuff :[   Coles and Woolies seem to have the rashers , roast, sausages, and some of the frozen stuff, depending on the store location, but they seem to have cut down on other stuff....

I would love to get the chicken style luncheon meat annat .... anyone else here from Adelaide that knows whre I can get more of the Sanitarium products  ?

    Thanks :]

It's getting harder to find most of the products which is a real shame.  Some products have vanished completely... the chicken style sausages and the stir fry strips.  If it becomes any more difficult we won't be able to buy Sanitarium at all!  I have been using more and more imported items due to this difficulty and as tasty as they are it would be nice to buy the Sanitarium products as easily.

I am from Adelaide as well. Been a vegetarian for 30 years. Rang Sanitarian at the beginning of this year and asked where I could buy the products I couldn't find. I was told that they no longer made Vita Burger, TVP, B.B.Q links or Tender piece's. It would seem that they have stopped makeing many of the much loved products. It would also seem that they changed the recipe of some of the products we used to love. An example of this would have to be the rasher's. They used to have the white bit when they were called not bacon. I loved them, ate them all the time, on sandwiches and in cooked meals. Now, once I have two rasher's, I can't eat any more for at least a week.

Ditto to above. So glad someone else remembers TVP - it was so good to use for stroganoff. Miss the Strips, great for stir fry and fooling my "hate veggie food" friends and family, and the sausage roll mix and the uncrumbed "chicken" patties. And my 92 year old mother still keeps asking me to look out in the supermarkets for the things have been out of production for several years. I have the same reaction to the rashers and thought it was just me. And now I can't find the little Roast in several supermarkets - help!!! Hope that one day that Sanitarium will produce something that looks like fish and tastes a little fishie too. Then my 'veg' world will be complete:).
