Ditto to above. So glad someone else remembers TVP - it was so good to use for stroganoff. Miss the Strips, great for stir fry and fooling my "hate veggie food" friends and family, and the sausage roll mix and the uncrumbed "chicken" patties. And my 92 year old mother still keeps asking me to look out in the supermarkets ...

P.S I LOVED the strips. Yes they were a little salty but made my life so much easier when cooking for my non Vegetarian friends. Lucky I bought 3 packs and froze them. I do use Tempah or Tofu but the Strips were a nice change and could fool anyone. M

What a shame. But at least I can now tell my 90 year old mother to stop looking for it every time she shops. The cold sliced Roast makes up for it for me but not so easy for her to use. Maraika
