  • Difficulty Easy
  • 1 tbs mirin seasoning
  • 3 tbs salt reduced soy sauce
  • 2 tbs honey
  • 2 tbs water
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbs sesame seeds
  • 1 pack Vegie Delights™ Vegie Hot Dogs
  • 1 tbs vegetable oil
  • 3 heads bok choy, chopped
  • 1 yellow or red capsicum, seeds removed and thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 600g hokkien noodles
  1. Combine the mirin, soy, honey, garlic, water and sesame seeds into a medium bowl. Stir well to disperse the garlic and honey through the mixture.
  2. Slice the Hot Dogs on the angle into bite size pieces and add to the sauce mixture. Stir and allow to marinate while you prepare the remaining vegetables.
  3. Heat the oil in a wok or large fry pan over high heat. Use a slotted spoon to remove the Hot Dogs and add to the hot pan, saving the sauce for later. Fry for a few minutes on each side, so they start to brown on the edges.
  4. Add the chopped vegetables and stir-fry for a couple of minutes, tossing at all times so the vegetables heat evenly.
  5. Pour half of the saved sauce over the vegetables, once it's bubbling add the noodles to the pan and toss around so they are evenly coated in the sauce. Add the remaining sauce and cook for 3 minutes (or according to the noodle packet) stirring to separate the noodles and toss together with the sauce. Serve while hot.
