Smokey BBQ Burger, Grilled Field Mushroom, Caramelised Onion



  • 4 x Vegie Delights Smokey BBQ Burger
  • 4 x large field mushrooms
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 80g caramelised onion (20g per person)
  • 4 radicchio / coral lettuce leaves
  • 140g slow cooked or semi dried tomatoes
  • 4 wholemeal buns


  1. Heat Vegie Delights Smokey BBQ Burger according to instruction.
  2. Brush mushrooms all over with extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle under side with thyme, cook underside up at 180C for 10 minutes.
  3. Slice mushrooms on the round in half read for service.
  4. Toast buns. Layer burger base with caramelised onion, followed by lettuce/radicchio, top with Vegie Delights Smokey BBQ Burger, field mushroom, tomatoes and burger top and serve.
