Vegie Bangers & Mash

herb and garlic sausages recipe



  • 1 pack of Vegie Delights Herb & Garlic Sausages
  • 2 onions, peeled and sliced
  • ½ tsp of mixed herbs
  • ½ tsp of mild mustard
  • 1 vegan friendly vegetable stock cube
  • 2 tsp of plain flour
  • 10 potatoes
  • 5 tsp of vegan friendly milk or cream
  • 1 cup of frozen green peas


  1. Pan-fry Vegie Delights Herb & Garlic Sausages as per cooking instructions, remove from pan and set aside
  2. Add sliced onions to pan and sauté
  3. Dissolve stock cube into ½ litre of boiling water, add herbs and mustard
  4. Add most of the stock mixture to pan, leaving a small amount aside. Bring to the boil
  5. Combine the flour with the small amount of stock mixture to make a paste
  6. Add the paste to the remaining stock mixture, whisk until the gravy has thickened. Season as desired
  7. Cook potatoes in boiling water until soft, mash with vegan friendly milk or cream and season with salt and pepper
  8. Heat peas in microwave until soft
  9. Serve Vegie Delights Herb & Garlic Sausages, mash, peas and gravy on plate
